This place is very legit. I grew up in New Jersey in the 60s 70s . An Italian sub was common. I’ve struggled to find a good Italian sub in the area since I moved here 4 years ago. I passed this place hundreds of times thinking fast food , wrong. We had an excellent experience here. Good beer choices and nice atmosphere. The Italian sub was beyond my expectations. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was excellent but I’m not from Philadelphia. Go here . It’s a keeper

I love this place! The Philly sandwiches are so tasty, and they load them with lots of meat. You can also double up on the cheese if you would like, and there are options to add mushrooms, as well as peppers, onions, and other things. The onions are a free add-on, but everything else will cost you a little bit extra, including extra cheese. Regular cheese is included. The ingredients they use are high-quality, and everything tastes great! The first time I came here, I ate inside the restaurant, and was super surprised with how filled up my sandwich was. So many other restaurants skimp on the meat in the cheesesteaks, and it’s really frustrating, especially considering how expensive it is to go out to eat now. This place doesn’t do that! I also wanted to test the theory on how well they would hold up on a to-go order, and because they wrap up the sandwiches the way they do, they were still nice and hot by the time I got home. And I live roughly 30 minutes away. I’ve eaten at this place a few times in just the past month because of how good it is. Definitely check it out!

Pretty solid cheesesteak definitely need to order it with extra cheese. Tater tots were great will be back. Main reason for not 5 stars and a little high on price in my opinion but overall a good product.

Good Philly Chicken n Cheese. 4 stars? Missing the sweet peppers is not enough but plenty of jalapeños. Soft bread,well cheesy,grilled oinions. I enjoy it...will try it again.

Great sandwiches. The onion rings and sweet potato fries are also pretty good. Servers are super patient. We watched a guy absolutely freak out because his order was 3 minutes late. Staff handled it as well as anyone could, and they deserve all the kudos for that. We will be back!

Being born and raised in the Philly area, I am critical of all “philly cheesesteaks”. While this place isn’t Ishkabibble's or John’s; it’s not a bad place to get a Cheesesteak in the desert. The flavor on the sandwhich was good, but I really think they missed the mark on the bread. It wasn’t as soft as I would have hoped. But hey! I can’t be too disappointed, I am pleasantly surprised.

Simply put, consistent damn good food and service. Take the time to go, sit at the bar and have a couple drinks with your meal. The drinks are well priced and taste great. Good selection of beer for a small place. Olivia does a great job and knows her customers well, old school feel of a friendly corner bar that NW Tucson desperately needed.

Frankie's makes a really good Philly cheese steak, just have to know what to ask for. I personally enjoy the Philly cheese steak Hoagie with cheese whiz, Peppers ,mushrooms the works.
